As the COO, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: 1.Grow generation: to succeed the COO must work effectively with colleagues, industry contacts, consultants etc. to manage of execute agreed strategies and standards and also identify development opportunities for growth. COO will need to be a “self-starter” moving to act in this regard without constantly needing review, follow up and direction. We build a growing company that require a searching new path for development (new suppliers, effective instruments, higher quality standards, implementation of ERP-systems, new business scopes) 2. Interpersonal skills: the role will require the COO to be a strong communicator (in all of its managers) and have the ability to interact effectively with an extremely diverse group of stakeholders (outside and inside the enterprise, including factories, lawyers, officials, tax officers) to sell ideas and gain support. 3. Market Intelligence: through deployment of a diverse network of contacts COO will contribute to build our capability in assembling and evaluating quality market intelligence to identify opportunities. For example this may entail reviewing markets to identify previously unknown opportunities (in logistics, in tax regimes, in marketing etc.) or researching the activity of our competitors to identify future opportunities that we may legitimately pursue. 4. Organizing daily work Setting up a clear and well-coordinated work of the office, a system of interaction between managers / Communication with the accounting service, lawyers, founders of the company. Primary responsibilities Supplier search management in China, obtaining the best payment conditions, best product quality with our target process. Direct negotiations with top management of the banks, factories, logistic partners, conduction of business correspondence with suppliers Organization and control of effective work of logistic department (supply chain). Work of this department contain export-import paperwork (obtaining packing lists and invoices from suppliers, checking all the information, requesting special VAT invoices, filling out forms for submitting an export customs declaration and other customs documents, as well as contacting the customs declarant on customs declaration issues, working with the customs website (electronic port of China), downloading from this website a copy of the export customs declaration for VAT refund) Reviewing of sales orders and managing various kinds of export compliance issues, such as export license determinations; licenses and approvals Costs management, Profit & loses management Coordinate of company’s managers activity Control of payments for products (5-10 mln RMB a month) Solving conflict situations Requirements and qualifications: Bachelor degree or above in foreign trade, economics, law or related; 2+ years of export trading related experience; Operational knowledge of Chinese export laws and regulations Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels and support decision making based on credible knowledge of International Trade Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese; Mature and detail-oriented; Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel and Word; Hands on experience with ERP systems
