Job Summary: Responsible for executing technical and statistical aspects of modeling and analytical projects and for ensuring that projects are delivered to high-quality standards and timelines agreed with clients. This role involves collaborating closely with commercial managers and being responsible for projects with guidance from senior analysts or managers. Responsibilities: 1. Execute daily modeling work including data processing, model adjustment, and result validation, ensuring clean, robust, and meaningful results are delivered in response to commercial briefs; 2. Identify and resolve quality and statistical data issues that may arise during the project; 3. Manage the technical and statistical parts of analytical products; 4. Participate in and contribute to customized projects and the development of innovative solutions to support functional and industry applications; 5. Support commercial teams in initial project design and answer technical questions that may arise in results presentations to clients. Qualifications: 1. 1-3 years of relevant working experience; 2. BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, or a related background; 3. Proficiency in Python is required; 4. Solid statistical knowledge and ability to design new methodologies; 5. Good understanding of frequently used machine learning algorithms (e.g., decision tree, random forest, SVM, XGBoost, network analysis, etc.); 6. Good analytical and problem-solving skills; 7. Effective communication and project management skills; 8. Knowledge of R, VBA, SQL, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus; 9. Experience with Spark/PySpark is a plus; 10. Experience working with large data sets and distributed computing tools (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, etc.) is a plus.
